Fourteen days to go. Here's everything that moved in GTA 6 news since our last roundup, each with how much you should trust it.

1. Preload moves up to November 10

Confirmed

Rockstar's Newswire says preload now starts on Tuesday, November 10: midnight local time on PS5 and 12 a.m. GMT on Xbox Series X|S, which is 7 PM Eastern on November 9. The download needs up to 212 GB, boxed codes reach retailers on November 12, and a free Leonida map arrives on November 19. Our earlier guides said November 12, and we've corrected them. Start times for every region.

2. The PS5 Pro features "leak" looks fake

Rumor

A screenshot of a PlayStation France page claimed GTA 6 on PS5 Pro gets PSSR upscaling and better ray tracing. It also mentioned Atsu's katana from Ghost of Yōtei. We checked the live US and French pages: both show the PS5 Pro Enhanced badge, and neither mentions PSSR or ray tracing. What gives it away.

3. About 7.7 million pre-orders, by one estimate

Likely

Sensor Tower estimates about 7.71 million digital pre-orders worth more than $750 million: roughly 5.74 million on PS5 and 1.97 million on Xbox. That's up about 1.3 million since October 19. These are analyst estimates, and Rockstar and Take-Two haven't confirmed any sales numbers.

4. Rockstar's spoiler rules

Confirmed

Rockstar's video policy, last updated in January 2025, says videos showing the ending, edited compilations of cutscenes or other big story reveals will be removed. Cutscenes are fine inside a longer playthrough or a narrated Let's Play. It isn't a new GTA 6 rule, but it's the one that will apply on November 19.

5. Reminder: Justice scored GTA 6

Confirmed

Rockstar confirmed on October 29 that Justice composed the game's adaptive score. Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score has 30 tracks and comes out on December 11, and the new single Pusher features Gesaffelstein. Our soundtrack post had called this unconfirmed, and we've corrected it. Every confirmed song.
