Every Delay, Explained

GTA 6 has been officially delayed twice. Trailer 1 promised 2025. On May 2, 2025, Rockstar moved the game to May 26, 2026. Then on November 6, 2025, it slipped one final time to November 19, 2026. Rockstar said the extra months would "allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve." Since then, every signal has pointed one way: Take-Two reaffirmed the date in its May 2026 earnings call, marketing kicked off in late June, and pre-orders are live.

What About PC?

Rockstar has not announced a PC version of GTA 6. That is normal for Rockstar: GTA 5 launched on consoles in September 2013 and reached PC in April 2015, and Red Dead Redemption 2 took just over a year to make the same jump. A PC release well after November 19, 2026 is widely expected, but until Rockstar says so, we track it as unconfirmed on our rumor tracker.
