The Protagonists
Lucia Caminos
Lucia is the first playable female lead in a modern mainline Grand Theft Auto. Her father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk, and fighting for her family landed her in Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out. Fresh off her release, Lucia wants the good life her mom dreamed about since their days in Liberty City, and she's done waiting on half-baked fantasies: only smart moves from here. Rockstar frames her and Jason as a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style duo at the heart of the story.
Jason Duval
Jason wants an easy life, but things keep getting harder. He grew up around grifters and crooks, did a stint in the Army trying to shake off his troubled teens, and wound up in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners, because that's what he knows best. Meeting Lucia could be the best or worst thing that ever happens to him. Jason knows how he'd like it to turn out, but right now it's hard to tell.
The Supporting Cast
Rockstar introduced the wider cast through its official GTA 6 website and Trailer 2, each with a short in-world bio. These seven are the only supporting characters officially named so far. Everything else you've seen floated online is speculation.
Cal Hampton
A conspiracy-minded recluse who feels safest at home, snooping on Coast Guard comms with a few beers and some private browser tabs open. In Rockstar's words, Cal is "at the low tide of America" and perfectly happy to stay there.
Boobie Ike
A local Vice City legend and one of the few to turn his time in the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio. Boobie is all smiles until it's time to talk business. He runs Only Raw Records alongside Dre'Quan Priest.
Dre'Quan Priest
Always more of a hustler than a gangster. Even while dealing on the streets, Dre'Quan's goal was breaking into the music business. Now he manages Only Raw Records with Boobie Ike and signed the rap duo Real Dimez.
Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe & Roxy)
Friends since high school, Bae-Luxe and Roxy are Vice City's rising rap duo. They turned their experience shaking down local dealers into cold, hard cash through spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence.
Raul Bautista
An experienced bank robber always on the lookout for talent willing to take on high-stakes work. Raul is the clearest heist-crew connection in the confirmed cast, exactly the kind of contact who could pull Jason and Lucia into much bigger scores.
Brian Heder
A veteran drug lord from the Leonida Keys' smuggling heyday. Brian lets Jason live rent-free at one of his properties as long as Jason helps with local shakedowns and stops by for his wife Lori's sangria once in a while.
Rumored & Unconfirmed
Leaked development files have mentioned names like Billy and Kai as possible additional playable characters, and fans have theorized about an unnamed detective seen in Trailer 2 as the antagonist.
