1. Site Status & Disclaimer

GTA6 Daily is an unofficial fan site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates.

"Grand Theft Auto," "GTA," "GTA 6," all related game titles, logos, characters, and brand names are trademarks and/or copyrighted works of their respective owners. They are used here only for the purposes of news reporting, commentary, and identification (nominative fair use). No ownership of these marks is claimed.

2. Content Policy

  • We do not host any game files, downloads, mods, APKs, cracks, or executable content of any kind.
  • Every article labels its claims as Confirmed, Likely, Rumor, or Debunked, and cites its sources.
  • Editorial content is original work authored by our editors and stored in our database. Community Gallery items are submitted by visitors and reviewed before publication.
  • Article images are created or licensed by us and embedded directly within the content; we do not operate a separate file-hosting service.
  • We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that all information is complete or correct. Readers should verify claims through official channels (e.g., Rockstar Games' official website and social channels).

3. Information We Collect

We collect only minimal information needed to operate the site:

  • Server logs: Standard web-server data such as your IP address, browser user-agent, device type, and referring pages. This is used for analytics, performance, and security (e.g., preventing abuse).
  • Page view counts: Aggregate view counts are tracked for display and editorial purposes only.
  • Launch Passport: Your nickname, platform, playstyle, first destination, visited site sections, readiness progress, up to five distinct news article slugs, and monthly achievement badges are stored in your browser's local storage. This visit history stays on your device and is used only to calculate Passport progress. The share image is generated on your device. If you choose "Gallery," a temporary image draft is placed in session storage and is not sent to us until you complete and submit the Gallery form.
  • Gallery submissions: If you submit an image, screenshot, or Launch Passport to the moderated Gallery, we collect the image, your chosen display name or anonymous preference, email address, IP address, submission time, and moderation status. Email and IP address are used for contact, abuse prevention, and submission limits and are not displayed publicly.
  • Newsletter signups: If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we collect your email address together with a consent record (the consent text you agreed to, a timestamp, your IP address, and your browser user-agent). Subscription uses double opt-in, meaning you only join the list after clicking the confirmation link we email you, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. See Section 6 for the email service we use.
  • Abuse prevention: Public submission forms may derive a short browser/device identifier from basic browser signals and combine it with network information for rate limiting. It is used to prevent repeated automated submissions, not for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not collect sensitive personal data.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

  • Essential cookies: Used for authentication and session management (e.g., keeping editors logged in). These are required for the site to function.
  • Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Where required, this runs only with appropriate consent.
  • Third-party cookies: Embedded content (e.g., YouTube videos) and advertising partners may set their own cookies, subject to their respective privacy policies (see Sections 5 and 6).
  • Local storage: We use your browser's local storage to remember on-device preferences, newsletter status, and Launch Passport profile, progress, visited sections, and badges. This data stays on your device and is not used to track you across sites.
  • Session storage: When you choose to prepare a Launch Passport for the Gallery, the generated image is held temporarily in your current browser tab so it can prefill the submission form. It is removed after a successful submission and normally disappears when the tab session ends.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality.

5. Advertising

We may display advertising provided by Google AdSense and/or other third-party advertising networks to support the operation of this site.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) or www.aboutads.info/choices.

6. Third-Party Services

This site may link to, or embed content from, third-party services including (but not limited to) YouTube, Reddit, Google News, and gaming RSS feeds. We are not responsible for the content, cookies, or privacy practices of those third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

  • Email delivery (MailerLite): Newsletter subscriptions are processed and stored by MailerLite, our email service provider, in accordance with its own privacy policy. We share only the data described in Section 3 with MailerLite for the purpose of sending you the newsletter you requested.
  • Hosting, storage, and security: Vercel hosts the website, Google Firebase stores operational records, Upstash supports rate limiting, and Cloudinary stores and delivers approved or pending Gallery images. These providers process limited technical or submitted data on our behalf.
  • Retailer links: Our guides (e.g., the GTA 6 pre-order guide) link out to official stores and retailers such as the Rockstar Store, PlayStation Store, Microsoft/Xbox Store, Amazon, and GameStop. These are plain informational links. We have no affiliate relationships and earn nothing from purchases you make there. Any transaction is solely between you and the retailer.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

If and when we offer paid subscriptions, all payments will be processed by secure third-party payment processors. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Any personal data you provide during checkout will be handled in accordance with this policy and the payment processor's own privacy terms.

8. Copyright & DMCA / Takedown Requests

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content on this site infringes your copyright or trademark, please contact us with:

  1. A description of the work you believe is infringed;
  2. The exact URL(s) where the material appears;
  3. Your contact information; and
  4. A statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.

We will review and, where appropriate, remove or correct flagged content promptly.

9. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.
